HOW IT WORKS
FOUR STAGES,
ONE WAY IN.
Spotted in training
Coaches assess every Dragon Academy session continuously — not on one showcase night. They're looking for ability, but just as much for attitude and how a player handles being challenged. Advanced Dragons take part in 2 assessment days over the selection period.
Invited to Talent ID
Standout players get an official invitation. Selections run every eight - twelve weeks, so a player who isn't ready this round is genuinely in contention for the next.
Phase 1 — the in-house trial
A structured trial run in a professional environment, using data tracking equipment and video analysis, filmed properly rather than on a phone from the sideline.
Phase 2 — or back in and go again
At least one player from every Talent ID group progresses to Phase 2: external trials and direct presentation to professional and semi-professional scouts through our partners. Everyone else keeps training and stays eligible for the next round.
