Talent ID

The Dragon Talent ID Programme identifies players within Dragon Academy who show outstanding potential, attitude, and commitment.

Selected players will be invited to exclusive Talent ID events, advanced development sessions, and opportunities to attend professional or semi-professional trials through our external partners.

This programme is designed to recognise players ready for the next stage of their development.

Selections take place throughout the year.

How it works

1️⃣ Talent Identification

Players are continually assessed during Dragon Academy training sessions. Coaches identify players who demonstrate strong ability, attitude, and commitment.

2️⃣ Invitation to Talent ID

Players who consistently stand out may receive an invitation to join the Dragon Talent ID Programme.

3️⃣ Talent ID Events / Trial

Selected players will take part in Talent ID fixtures, showcase events, or trial opportunities through our external partners.

4️⃣ Progression or Continued Development

Players who impress may progress to further opportunities. players that return to Dragon Academy continue training and developing, working towards future opportunities.

About the Dragon Talent ID Programme

The Dragon Talent ID Programme has been created to recognise and support players within Dragon Academy who demonstrate exceptional commitment, ability, and potential.

While Dragon Academy focuses on developing all players, the Talent ID pathway allows selected players to access additional opportunities designed to challenge and progress them further.

Through Talent ID events, advanced environments, and external trial opportunities, our aim is to give players the chance to test themselves at the next level of the game.

Selection into the programme is based on consistent performance, attitude, and development during training sessions, ensuring that opportunities are earned through hard work and dedication.

Players remain part of Dragon Academy while working towards future opportunities through the Talent ID pathway.

What Selected Players Receive

Players selected for the Dragon Talent ID Programme may receive access to:

• Talent ID training sessions and showcase events
• Opportunities to attend professional or semi-professional trials through external partners
• Additional development opportunities within Dragon Academy
• Performance feedback from the coaching team
• Recognition for their progress and commitment
