WHY WE EXIST
FOOTBALL THAT
MAKES A DIFFERENCE
Plenty of children try football once and never go back. Usually it isn't the sport — it's an hour spent queuing for a turn, or being shouted at by somebody who doesn't know their name.
Dragon Academy was built to be the opposite of that. Small groups, a coach who stays with your child week after week, and an hour structured so nobody stands about. Ability matters, but so do effort, attitude and resilience — and those are what we coach hardest.
We're South Wales based and we're not going anywhere. Same night, same hall, every week of the year.

Mini Dragons
A fun, confidence-building introduction to football. We focus on movement, balance, coordination, and simple ball skills in a playful, supportive environment. Perfect for little ones starting their football journey.
Ages 5-7
Junior Dragons
Structured, enjoyable training that develops real football foundations — dribbling, passing, teamwork, and decision-making. Sessions mix learning with fun while pushing players to improve every week.
Ages 8-13
Advanced Dragons
High-quality, challenging technical and tactical training for motivated players. We focus on skill development, game understanding, speed of play, and preparing players for competitive football pathways
