A New Challenge. A Bigger Stage. Same Dragon Fire.

We’re proud to announce that Dragon Academy will be entering the ENG League tournament this September, marking a huge step forward for our players, our academy, and the entire Dragon Football Development journey.

The ENG League, one of the fastest-growing independent youth football platforms in the UK, is known for its competitive fixtures, national exposure, and strong social media presence. With thousands of weekly views and top-tier organisation, this isn’t just another Sunday league — it’s a platform where serious players develop.

“The moment we launched Dragon Academy, this was the vision – to build something that gives young players real opportunities to play, progress and perform,” said coach Dylan Powell.“Now, with the ENG League, we’re giving our players the chance to represent something bigger.”

⚽ What This Means for Our Players:

  • Regular competitive fixtures starting in September

  • Professional matchdays filmed, streamed, and featured on social media

  • Opportunities to compete against top grassroots sides from across the region

  • Full Dragon Academy squads in branded Macron kits

  • The start of our tournament & league journey

We’ll be announcing trial dates, team selections, and fixture schedules in the coming weeks. Existing academy players will be given first priority to join the squads, and new players will be considered based on training performance and attitude.

Want to be part of it?

There’s still time to join Dragon Academy and work towards a place in the ENG League squads.
